​The painting days will take place in the shady courtyard of a typical  stone house seconds away from the beach. As well as painting by the sea, there will be opportunities to visit other places, some within walking distance to areas amongst olive groves and lemon trees. Nearby mountain villages in which  to enjoy their shady squares surrounded by Plane trees- making this area so unique- and to sample local specialities at the many tavernas. The stunning coastline of the Aegean is not far away.

​The course will be aimed at beginners and intermediates and will cover different techniques in relation to painting landscape. The short course will help to develop drawing as well as painting skills. There will be experimentation and exploration into various painting approaches through line, colour and tone.

Courses on learning the ancient art of Gilding. How to prepare surfaces for gilding. Using both water and oil gilding with the laying of gold leaf on flat and curved surfaces.

For the water colour course prices are on request and will include half board at a local hotel or staying in rooms nearby. The course is for three days is inclusive of materials and tuition and light refreshments.
